With a pit master named Big Lou, you can’t go wrong at Wildwood BBQ. Located on Park Avenue in New York City and at the Post Card Inn in St. Pete Beach, Florida, Wildwood serves up multi-regional American BBQ in a rustic yet urban setting. Prescriptive Music is already responsible for the background music the other B.R. Guest restaurants and the programmers were particularly thrilled to build a playlist for a BBQ and burger restaurant that strives to deliver a musical vibe as familiar and beloved as its classic American BBQ menu.

At Wildwood BBQ and Burger guests can sample Texas-style smoked brisket, Carolina pulled pork and Memphis-style ribs, all made in-house with Big Lou’s secret rubs, sauces and spices and served with a skillet of cornbread or cheddar mac and cheese on the side. The menu also features vast and thoughtfully-chosen wine and bourbon lists, 50 bottled and draft beers, and an assortment of creative cocktails from B.R. Guest Corporate Mixologist Eben Klemm. The previously mentioned rustic yet urban setting mixes stainless steel with warm wood tones to create an atmosphere that lives up to the the B.R. Guest standard while still emitting a sense of comfort and familiarity that gets the whole family eating with their hands. Just as the menu offers American BBQ dishes from all over the country, the background music features blues, soul, and rock artists new and old from across the US. From classic rock like Creedence Clearwater Revival and Jimi Hendrix to modern rock artists like the Black Keys and Kings of Leon, Wildwood is always sure to be rockin’.  Other musicians rocking the playlist include Johnny Cash and modern country rock artists like Lady Antebellum, Otis Redding, James Brown, and modern rock artists like Beck and Band of Skulls.

So if you’re feeling a hankering for some quality American BBQ, a solid selection of beer, wine and bourbon, and some familiar rock, blues and soul music with a few new tracks sprinkled in, Wildwood BBQ is the place for you.
