One & Only has become one of the best-known high end resort and spa destinations in the world. With One & Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, Mexico already under their belt, Prescriptive Music was naturally honored to program the musical vibes at One & Only’s most recent venture, located on one of the world’s most incredible landscapes: the artificial archipelago of Palm Dubai.

Dubai is a hub of international travel, with most of it catering to wealthy, high-end businesspeople and jetsetters. The Palm is no different, offering accommodations with magnificent views of the Dubai skyline and the Persian Gulf’s crystal blue waters along with top-notch dining options and a world-class spa menu, which includes a collection of several-day treatments meant to ensure the wellness and balance of the body and mind. One & Only’s Spas are world-renowned and The Palm, Dubai is their most recent project, so the programmers at Prescriptive Music kept that in mind when compiling the playlists for the spa’s nine individual suites and private garden areas. The Spa features ambient, new-age world beats that reflect the diverse clientele and overall worldly feeling of the resort. A combination of soothing piano, strings, Asian flutes, and dark droning undertones help induce spa-goers into a deep state of relaxation. When guests are fully relaxed after their spa treatment they can enjoy cuisine from one of three restaurants, all supervised by chef Yannick Alleno.

ZEST Restaurant features two live cooking stations where guests can order freshly-prepared Oriental and Middle-Eastern dishes and dine with friends and family in an atmosphere that is ultra-chic and open, accented by floor-to-ceiling windows and Arabian designs of silver and crystal. The stylish environment of ZEST is perfectly complemented by cool, mid-tempo world lounge music and trip-hop throughout the day. 101 is another option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner featuring Al Fresco dining with broad panoramic views and an entrance adjacent to the Marina for guests on private yachts or water taxi. 101’s menu offers light Mediterranean tapas, salads and seafood, all balanced by a light musical atmosphere comprised of modern, European beats  and mid-tempo lounge tracks. Finally, STAY Restaurant – open for dinner only – is equally as well-designed as the rest of The Palm, with vaulted ceilings and black crystal chandeliers as well as a variety of seating options including Sharing tables and small private tables for romantic occasions. Chef Alleno wows guests with contemporary versions of classic fine dining dishes, and the whole experience is accompanied by a musical palette of classic crooner tunes and jazz standards.
