The year isn’t over until King Push drops his latest album.
All I’m saying is…3 singles deep and “King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude” is already one of the best albums of the year. Yes, they’re that good.
We’ve had our fair share of “Trap” music in the past couple of years. Some of it is good, some of it is okay at best and some of it is straight garbage. But if there was ever a pioneer in our generation of the “Trap” Pusha T would be the man to look to. 14 years in, and he’s never compromised his rhymes, thoughts or opinions once and has even expressed his disregard for people hating on his “Trap” persona and lifestyle when he first came out. Now that the trap lifestyle is a thing to be celebrated, Pusha T is here to remind us where that all started.
Ever since I heard Clipse’s first album “Lord Willin” I knew that Pusha T was going to be around for a loooong time. He’s had his ups and downs in the music industry especially when he and his brother parted ways a few years ago. He’s always kept up with his features and mixtape game, and with his last album “My Name is My Name” released back in 2013 that definitely put him back on the radar as one of the best.
“King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude” the prequel to simply “King Push” coming in 2016, is going to feature some of the best producers including Timbaland, Kanye West, Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, Boi-1da, Frank Dukes, and many more hard hitters. Not to mention, the production level in his videos is also no exception.
Pusha T in my opinion is already in “Legendary” status, but if you don’t believe me….check out his latest below, and make sure you check out “King Push – Darkest Before Dawn: The Prelude” coming out on December 18th.
