Aquarius Wellness Center for Healing Arts in St. Louis has built its reputation as a calm, restorative space where every element of the environment is intentionally designed to support healing.  From massage therapy to energy work, the client experience is rooted in presence, comfort, and emotional ease, making music a critical yet often understated part of the atmosphere.

To support this vision, owner Andrew Goodman partnered closely with RX Music to develop a sound environment that would feel fully aligned with the center’s identity.  Rather than applying a generic wellness playlist, the process focused on understanding the distinct tone Andrew wanted to create – something serene and immersive, but also warm, human, and quietly engaging.  This collaborative approach ensured the music would feel like a natural extension of the space rather than an afterthought.

The resulting program is built almost entirely on instrumental selections, drawing from ambient, acoustic, and soft contemporary styles.  Each track was chosen for its ability to promote relaxation without calling attention to itself, with careful consideration given to pacing, tonal consistency, and emotional neutrality.  The goal was to create a seamless listening experience that supports a wide range of services and allows clients to remain fully present during longer sessions.

Throughout the day, the music maintains a steady, unintrusive flow, avoiding abrupt transitions or lyrical distractions that might interrupt the therapeutic process.  Whether in shared spaces or private treatment rooms, the soundscape provides a subtle sense of continuity that helps clients settle in quickly and remain at ease.

RX Music has also maintained an ongoing relationship with Andrew, continuing to refine and evolve the programming over time.  By incorporating specific requests and introducing new content aligned with his vision, the music remains dynamic while staying true to the center’s established tone.

I request various tracks, which are then sent to me in a Proposed Playlist.  I listen to the music at my leisure, clicking yay or nay after listening to each song, making a determination on whether the track truly fits the transcendental vibe we are going for at Aquarius.  All the approved songs are then added to the permanent playlist.  We rinse and repeat in our quest for the ultimate Zen collection of spa music that can literally bring you to tears, as it frequently does for our guests as they are describing their Aquarius spa experiences!  – Andrew Goodman

Today, the music at Aquarius Wellness Center functions as an integral part of the overall experience, something felt more than consciously noticed.  By closely aligning the programming with Andrew Goodman’s vision and continuing to adapt it over time, RX Music has helped create an environment where sound supports stillness, enhances comfort, and contributes to a more cohesive and immersive healing journey.
