The “goddess” BANKS is back with a new video, and it’s amazing as usual.
I seriously don’t know where to start when it comes to explaining how much I love me some BANKS. All I can really say is that the music industry is clearly better with her in it. In other words, the “goddess” is back and better than ever.
Every video from Banks to date has been in their own right “hauntingly unforgettable” if I could sum it up into words, and the music behind each piece of visual art is no different. From “Drowning” “Beggin For Thread” and “Waiting Game” the visuals have been perfectly in sync with an equal amount of a vulnerable, yet empowering and stern vocal from the songstress – I call it “Fiona Apple meets the dark side of Aaliyah” as her voice on this track will tug on your heart strings and probably give you nightmares like you’ve never felt before.
“Better” is the latest haunting single from the 27 year old American singer songwriter, and she channels her inner Nine Inch Nails and Tool in the directorial debut of James Mountford Studio. This is one that should definitely be in your playlist if you’re looking for something different. Check out the amazing video below.
