Tegan and Sara are finally set to release their highly anticipated follow-up to 2013’s mainstream breakthrough, Heartthrob next month. Love You to Death will have 10 tracks and the duo have already shared the album’s first single, “Boyfriend” which they followed up quickly with “U-Turn”.
Both songs are pure pop featuring slick production with Pitchfork declaring “Boyfriend” as “peak Tegan and Sara” (as well as “Best New Track”).
Now only a couple weeks after revealing the video for “Boyfriend“, the Quin twins have shared the video for “U-Turn”, which sees the sisters driving, running, and dancing around in a colourful animated world that doesn’t feel too far away from Sesame Street.
