Sufjan Stevens is due to release his first LP in 5 years in March called Carrie & Lowell. A few weeks later he’ll be on the road touring this record on a whirlwind North American tour!
The album itself promises to be a bit of a throwback of sorts as he dedicates his “folk roots” of this record to his parents, as well as themes such as “life and death, love and loss., and the artists struggle to make sense of the beauty and ugliness of love”.
Out on March 31st, Carrie & Lowell will come out via Drag City Records.
