Yeah…. this one is tough for everybody….

I’m reading through some of the obituaries from the major (and minor) publications and there are a ton different stories of ‘that thing’ that Robin Williams did when they first met that was so… out there… so insane, off-beat, hilariously funny, yet completely innocent and warm.

That was the magic of Robin Williams, and I know you’ve read this a million times already, but you only have read it a million times because it bears repeating, this was a kind, gentle, and hilariously funny man.

Watching the social-media-group-hug that happened last night is always a bit of an exercise in self restraint. You want to join the party, you want to let it be known that you miss him too – you wish that you can say something relevant, insightful, nostalgic, and at the same time pulls at your heart-strings in such a way that makes the reader remember what it was like to watch Hook, Mrs. Doubtfire, Jumanji, Good Will Hunting, Good Morning Vietnam, or Aladdin for the first time. Because, sooner or later, somebody always nails it:

But yeah, ultimately, we already miss him, and for the great many of us that were born after Mork and Mindy made it’s debut, we can’t really imagine a world without him.

On top of all of his accolades and accomplishments as an actor and comedian – he was actually a pretty good singer too! We all know this. So, here’s some of our favourite songs sung (either in part or in full) by the late, great, Robin Williams.
