Brand New Music

HOMESHAKE | Helium
Ever since leaving Mac Demarco’s live act in 2014 Peter Sagar, aka HOMESHAKE, has pursued his own creative vision. Sleepy-eyed, lilting and nearly a bored style of music production, HOMESHAKE’s sound on this record is an ode to minimalism. Sparkling with out needing sweeping gestures to achieve effect, no song stretches any more than ~3 minutes in length. This leaves Sagar’s ability to build infectious songs efficiently in full view.

Ladytron | Ladytron
Eight years out from their last release, the shoegazing mavericks Ladytron have brought themselves, rightfully, back into the conversations of twenty-first century innovators in music. But with the musical landscape changing at such a rapid pace, is there room for a Ladytron in 2019? The short answer is, absolutely. The longer answer is that they’re as vital as ever before. With a record that is as immediate as it is dance floor friendly, the self-titled release remains ever experimental that punctuates the album with 13 eventful tracks.

Czarface | Czarface Meets Ghostface
Another issue of the comic book-themed hip hop collective, this is yet another Wu-Tang-inspired record. Ghostface Killah, as well as Czarface members 7L and Inspectah Deck, have released a project that is on par with summer Marvel movie.
