Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Birdman, and Damon Dash are teaming up for a brand new Reality show called Music Moguls. Taping begins in November and will be airing on BET in the new year. With four dynamic personalities the show plans on delving into not only music, but their family, business and love lives.
Snoop and Dash are no strangers to the Reality world. In 2007 – 2008 Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood aired on the E Channel and Damon Dash had his Ultimate Hustler show which aired on BET.
The four Moguls will bring their own brand of self promotion and drama to the table.
Snoop Dogg – a STRONG advocate of recreational marijuana use. I’m sure he’ll be puffing his point across. The family man raising his three kids with his wife Shante Broadus. His eldest son just quit playing college football and their youngest daughter is a lupus survivor. Plus it’s Snoop Double G bound to be some laughs!!!
Jermaine Dupri – former BF of Janet Jackson. One of the super star producers and songwriters of the 90’s. Mariah Carey, Xscape, Usher, Boyz II Men are just some of the artists he’s worked with. We haven’t heard much from Dupri lately so it will be cool to check in with him to see what he has in store for us musically.
Damon Dash – the former business partner of Jay-Z when they had Roc-A-Fella records. Dash is a true entrepreneur, promoting his Fashion, brand new video streaming service, and music. He’ll also bring one of the most upfront in your face personalities to the show.
Birdman – net worth of his Cash Money record label 170 million. His former protege Lil Wayne is suing him for 51 million. Lets hope he’ll break it down on the show exactly whats happening between their father and son relationship gone sour.
This looks like a winner I’m hoping for a dynamic, drama filled, 8 part ‘Music Mogul’ thriller.
