While Lady Gaga got all kinds of attention for her mushed together medley of David Bowie hits at the Grammys, including from the Starman’s son, the recent 2016 BRIT Awards did their own tribute to the recently deceased icon.

After being passionately remembered by friends Annie Lennox and Gary Oldman at the award show, singer Lorde went on to stun the audience with a performance of the Bowie classic, “Life on Mars?”, complete with a backing band consisting of Bowie’s former band members.
