It only comes around every 4 years, but when it does, man, you end up learning a whole lot about the demographics of your neighborhood. Horns honking, flags waving, drinking in the middle of the afternoon, the World Cup is meant to bring peace-loving nations together in friendly competition regardless of the constraints of violence, racism, or greed. Emphasis on meant.

Regardless of the intentions of FIFA’s quadrennial celebration of sport – the unintended consequences are defiantly an up-tick in localized national pride.. outside of the host nation, of course.

So, in honor of this increased sense of peace and belonging – here is every national anthem of each nation competing in the 2014 World Cup!
