This morning the twitter account for the Grammys started listing the nominees for the 2015 Grammy awards. In response, fans and critics alike released a statement of their own, “well, no shit”.

Once again, surprising nobody, this years crop of nominees are as every bit of a predictable, numb, salacious, soul-sucking hell-pop, slag-heap as they are every year. The mere concept that something like Ghost Stories by Coldplay is even considered the “best” of 2014 in any category is simply beyond the pale.

God, I hate the Grammys. And if you’d like some prime examples of why this award remains completely irrelevant, you can check out this great post from Bearded Gentlemen Music regarding last year’s ceremony.
