British Columbia-natives Yukon Blonde and Newfoundland’s Hey Rosetta! have reached across Canada for a “song concerning the upcoming 2015 Canadian federal election.”

Considering that Canadian protest songs are usually pretty terrible, this one dedicated to “avoid another tragic Harper government” is actually, taken objectively without politics, very enjoyable.

Tim Baker, singer for Hey Rosetta! said to the CBC last week, “There’s a lot to yell about … I just actually wanted to — I hope that some people will hear it and whether they agree with it or not it will spur them into voting.”
