UK underground Grime rapper Stormzy is on a bit of a tear with the Brit Awards, which takes place on February 24th, 2016. Stormzy, winner of the MOBO Award, 2014 is perhaps the baddest UK Grime exports on the scene right now. His blazing lyrical flow over the Rude Kid produced “One Take” track lays into the Brit Awards omission of any underground or Grime artists. “None of my Gs nominated for Brits, are you taking the piss?”

Grime is on a bit of a resurgence over the past few years. Here’s the Wiki Grime breakdown:

‘Grime is a genre of music that emerged in England in the early 2000s. It is primarily a development of UK garage, drum and bass and dancehall. Pioneers of this stylized music include Dizzee Rascal, Durrty Goodz, Ghetts, Jammer, Kano, Lethal Bizzle, Skepta, and Wiley’.

The video was shot in Japan with Stormzy walking the streets in the Grime uniform Adidas tracksuits.
