For when you’re feeling social

Right in the middle of another dizzying tour of the US, Chicago-natives Twin Peaks will be making their one and only Canadian stop in Toronto this Saturday at Lee’s Palace.

Fresh off the heels of their third studio album Down In Heaven, the group consisting of Cadien Lake James (vocals, guitar), Clay Frankel (vocals, guitar), Jack Dolan (vocals, bass), Connor Brodner (drums) and Colin Croom (keys, vocals, guitar), bring their high-energy garage rock-indie-power-pop north of the border.

For Down In Heaven, which was recorded in murky Western Massachusetts in 2015, the group set out to record a record that they truly wanted to hear. “I’ve been particularly drawn to records that have a more personal feel, not necessarily lyrically, but in sonic aesthetic” James said of the experience, “It was about trying to simplify and hone in on the things that are important to our music and ethos.”

Tickets for Twin Peaks, featuring Pangea and Golden Daze are available through Ticketfly, paper tickets can also be found at Rotate This & Soundscapes.
