In a welcome but unexpected collaboration, nu-disco and house producer Treasure Fingers and rapper Young Thug come together for “Raw (Might Just).”

A departure from his usual French House influenced, four-to-the-floor beats, this slow number is dripping with atmosphere. Check out the lush bass, pitched down backing vocals and crisp woodblock here:

The track appears on Young Thug’s new mixtape Slime Season 2 which was self-released on October 31st.

In a recent interview with Dazed & Confused, Young Thug gave us this gem:

“It takes [Wayne and Drake] so long to do a song. I understand why, because they want it to be perfect. But I can write a perfect song in ten minutes.”

Let’s hope he can keep up that pace. Young Thug’s long-delayed debut studio album, Hy!£UN35 (pronounced “HiTunes”) is expected to be released this year through 300 Entertainment.
