When I came across soul-pop artist JP Saxe I was instantly drawn to his music; I would compare his sound to Jarryd James. He shapes his R&B-leaning with elegant musicality and purposeful inventiveness. The Toronto-bred singer-songwriter is currently based in LA.

JP Saxe cites his musical influences to the likes of Lauryn Hill, Paul Simon, Jamie Cullum, Justin Nozuka, Allen Stone, Lianne La Havas and Carole King.

I have a feeling we will be seeing and hearing a lot from JP!

Listen to his latest single, “Anybody Else” below.

Listen to “Changed”

The acoustic version of “Changed” is so good!
