The praise and acclaim for Brittany Howard, lead singer and principle songwriter of Alabama Shakes has hardly had time to die down following the release of the group’s genre defying, experimental sophomore effort Sound & Color. Brittany wasted little time getting back to the forefront of the public’s playlists, dropping a new LP less than 6 months later under the powerful pseudonym Thunderbitch.

Howard is joined by local Nashville musicians to make up ‘Thunderband’, pulling members from the groups Fly Golden Eagle and Clear Plastic Masks.

Check out the tripped out promo clip offered up by Thunderbitch below and be sure to give the whole raw album a listen, currently streaming on the band’s website, for free! http://www.thundabetch.com/listen/
