The San Diego-native duo The Tablets, currently operating out of Brooklyn, is what you get if Jesus and Mary Chain were a little bit more new wave-y. “Not a Sign,” the first in a series of 7″ flexi singles coming out via Mon Amie Records, is a good illustration of this and is a great introduction to a very promising group.
