After 11 years, The Libertines have released their third album Anthems for Doomed Youth on Harvest Records. Musically the band picked up right where they left off which is oddly refreshing. The strength of the band has always been with two lead lyricists/singers, Pete Doherty and Carl Barât, and given the history of this band they still have plenty to say. The lead single “Gunga Din” has a slinky reggae vibe and the accompanying video shows the band getting sloppy in Thailand’s Red Light District. Which makes a load of sense. Check it out below.
