The Black Eyed Peas have released a politically charged music video for their single “Get It” that tackles racial inequality, police brutality and it features a Trump look-a-like.

Music has a way of sparking conversation, as I’m sure was the goal with this latest track — hopefully this will not only keep the conversation going but perhaps inspire change.

The group’s most recent songs, “Street Livin” and “Ring the Alarm, Pt. 1, Pt. 2, Pt. 3,” have also focused on political and social issues like racial and economic inequality in America. But it’s not the first time they have shed light on serious topics, back in 2003 they released, “Where Is the Love”.

The Black Eyed Peas’ ability to contrast party anthems alongside more powerful themes is what makes them so memorable.
