Political talk is not something you’d expect to get from The 1975, but they’re back with a new powerful track, and it’s full of political commentary, snipes and truth. Singer Matty Healy talked about the song in a recent interview saying, “Its not opinionated. It provides what is happening.” This new single is full of pop culture references that quote not only President Trump, but Kanye West as well, and it sends a message that “Modernity has failed us and I’d love it if we made it.”

“Love It If We Made It” follows the first single “Give Yourself A Try,” from the band’s upcoming third album, A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships, due out in October.
