It’s been 5 years since we’ve heard from Sum 41. For some that may not be long enough, though for others, it may have been a bit too long.

Either way frontman Deryck Whibley had been dealing with some pretty serious health issues, which understandably took up much of his energy. Also adding to the stress was the departure of original drummer Steve Jocz (bad news), though when the band started teasing their new album, it was revealed that original Sum 41 guitarist Dave Baksh would be rejoining the group (good news).

Now with new album, 13 Voices, slated for an October release, the band has unveiled the first single from the record, titled “Fake My Own Death” via a new music video where the band are constantly accosted by infamous internet memes.
