Australian singer and songwriter Sia released her hit single “Alive” a few months ago which will also be featured in her forthcoming album This Is Acting to be released in early 2016. A remix Ep Alive (Remixes) was released on December 8 and features 5 exclusive remixes by Plastic Plates, Maya Jane Coles, Afsheen, Boehm and Cahill. Australian DJ Plastic Plates (real name Felix Bloxsom) laces “Alive” with a smooth deep house vibe by using bright pulsating chords and a thumping kick which compliments Sia’s soul chilling vocals. The Plastic Plates remix is quite possibly the best one on this remix EP but don’t take my word for it, have a listen below.
