Many people don’t know that Sia was responsible for the success of Rihanna’s “Diamonds” song. So there’s no denying that when these two collaborate a big pop song is about to be born. “Cheap Thrills”, the fourth track from Sia’s upcoming new album “This Is Acting”, was originally intended to be recorded by Rihanna. But after listening to it over and over in her car she wanted it for herself. “For some reason, I really liked listening to it, but I wouldn’t normally be just jamming out to my own tunes,” she continued. “There’s something really uplifting about it that put me in a good mood, and I would just pretend it wasn’t me singing. It felt very summer and fun, and I was like, ‘I’ll put that on there.'”

I’m personally glad she kept it for herself. I love the song for her and I feel like her electro voice gives it the different personality it needs to stand out.
