There were four years between 2008’s debut Santigold and 2012’s Master Of My Make-Believe, and right on cue Santigold has announced plans for a new LP in 2016. There had been a few hints at the possibility of a return, like when she performed at a New Orleans elementary school last week.
Now, it’s official – confirmation of Santigold’s third LP 99¢ came via Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show this morning. She also premiered the lead single “Can’t Get Enough Of Myself”.
