Danish singer-songwriter, MØ (Karen Marie Ørsted) has unveiled a surprise six-track EP titled, ‘When I Was Young’. It’s a smooth pop/r&b listen with some jazz elements that complement her soft vocals.
In a press release, MØ explains the feeling she got while writing her new songs, “Just being in the bubble of that energy is so fucking awesome. It’s so amazing to be able to create a universe.”
The two songs that stand out to me the most are “Turn My Heart to Stone,” a catchy tune with a saxaphone playing the background and “Run Away” with its jazzy/blues feels.
