Grammy-nominated songstress and new mother Marsha Ambrosius had plenty to celebrate this past Mother’s day. The singer/songwriter is currently touring with the platinum-selling, soul-crooner, Eric Benet, as part of the M.E. Tour. Amidst the excitement of a new baby and an ambitious 40+ city tour across North America; the Liverpool native still found the the time to release a brand new single dedicated to her baby girl, Nyla. The single titled “Luh Ya,” is a mid-tempo, infectious groove that beautifully conveys her love and loyalty to her daughter and was fittingly co-written with her fiancé Dez Billups. She also teamed up with sought after producer, Harmony Samuels, for the light and heartwarming song which is her first release as an independent artist. The M.E. Tour is expected to wrap early June, allowing Ambrosius more time to concentrate on the challenges of motherhood and her upcoming third, yet to be titled, studio album due to arrive later this year via Human-Re-Sources Records.
