World Hip-Hop artist (and NFL villain) M.I.A. has been teasing us with her upcoming new album for a while now, recently going as far as to say that she was on the verge of leaking the album herself if it didn’t get released soon. Now after sharing the lyrics to a Skrillex-assisted track “Go Off” earlier this week, the song and (literally) explosive music video have been released along with a release date for the new album.

M.I.A.’s fifth album A.I.M. is set to arrive September 9th, and you can check out “Go Off” for yourself below. The track is a low-end banger that carries a strong emphasis on focus throughout its lyrics with it’s self-determined chorus, “No focus lost, I concentrate / And now you got it wrong / Go off on em”. Fortunately for fans, the track is more M.I.A. than it is Skrillex.

Enjoy.
