This guy is the Seth Rogan of hip-hop!
When this hit the internet a few days ago it had been a few months since David Burd, aka Lil’ Dicky, had released anything of note. Usually LD had been releasing stuff every Wednesday – an impressive feat for someone making professional looking viral YouTube videos from his bedroom, all while making extremely funny social commentary on the life and times of a man living as a white Jewish mid-20 something on the west coast – however, his self produced YouTube channel had been largely stagnant for quite some time. There are a few reasons for this, one of which being that after becoming internet famous with his video ‘Ex-Boyfriend’ he moved to LA to join his management team and it took some time to get acclimated.
Clearly this was a great move. On top his hilarious, likeable persona his video production has increased ten-fold with the support of the team around him.
