After announcing last fall that his follow-up to 2012’s I Know What Love Isn’t was 99% complete, Jens Lekman played some new tracks on a short fall tour and put them on tape with a short 3-song session with NPR.

Today Lekman announced the name and release date of the new record, titled Life Will See You Now, which will come out mid-February. The lead single, “What’s That Perfume That You Wear?”, an upbeat, light-hearted affair, features steel-drums sampled from Ralph MacDonalds 1978 song “The Path”, which Lekman claims to be one of his “favourite records ever”.
