Iggy Pop has released a second song from his highly-anticipated upcoming album, Post Pop Depression. In case you missed it, last week Iggy and Queens of the Stone Age frontman, Joshua Homme, revealed their musical partnership for the album on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. They went on to perform (along with bandmates Dean Fertita, Matt Helders and Matt Sweeney) the lead single from the album, “Gardenia”.

Now only days later, they’ve released, “Break Into Your Heart” – a slower number that recalls the more stripped-down tracks from Iggy’s old band, the Stooges, mixed with more sparse-sounding Queens of the Stone Age songs.

The band also performed the track during their visit to Colbert’s Late Show, though it was only for internet broadcast. Well since this is the internet, watch Iggy and his all-star band perform “Break Into Your Heart” here, and listen the studio version below.
