In an interview with Entertainment Weekly the HAIM sisters say that they’ve completed in-studio work on a new album due out next summer. Describing the sound as “raw, organic” HAIM claimed to kick most other producers out of the studio, “There’s a lot of cooks in the kitchen anyway,” Alana Haim told EW. “There’s three perfectionists in our band, and to add anymore people would be too much of a party.”
“We write everything, we play everything, and we help produce everything,” Danielle Haim added. “These things take time, and we refuse to put out anything we’re not 100 percent in love with.”
The band had cancelled the rest of their European tour to finish this record last summer.
