Good Charlotte haven’t been seen or heard from in almost 6 years. However, much like fellow early 2000’s rock bands Blink 182 and Sum 41, they’re on their way to a comeback. The latest single from the upcoming album, Life Can’t Get Much Better, is a step in a different direction for the band.

Not to discredit their previous work, but what I like about this is they’ve adopted a more mature sound, lyrically speaking as well. This has a more alternative feel to it, stepping away from the punk-ish sound that we’re used to.

The band will release their first album since 2010 on July 15th, called Youth Authority.
