It was quite the summer for G-Eazy and his Endless Summer tour buddies, Lil Uzi and Ty Dolla Sign. After taking a few weeks off to travel, he’s back with a fresh new freestyle, the “Endless Summer Freestyle”.

One thing that caught my attention from an early day Gerald was his love for 50’s and 60’s doo-wop, and he would feature samples from it from time to time. The “Endless Summer Freestyle” features a sample from the 1956 track “Neki-Hokey”, and it features YG. The two of them rap about their lavish lifestyles and big paychecks.

While this song is rumored to just be a freestyle for his fans, others are saying that this may be a taste of an Endless Summer 2 project. Whatever it is, I’ll take a new Gerald song any day.
