After writing and producing Beyoncé’s 2013 single “No Hero,” Caroline Polachek of Brooklyn-based synthpop duo Chairlift could have slipped into the shadows and made a killing in the songwriting business. But here she is, dancing around New York City in a video I can only describe as Kate Bush meets Ciara in Bollywood:

That would also be an apt description of the track itself, with Polachek’s wildly pitched vocals dancing over big brass hits and a double-dutch infused trap-pop beat with some castanets thrown in for good measure.

Chairlift also includes Patrick Wimberly, who joined Solange Knowles’ live band on drums in 2013 and is featured as a songwriter on her upcoming album.

“Ch-Ching” appears on Moth, the duo’s forthcoming album slated for a January 2016 release on Columbia Records.
