Okay – this one’s going to be good…
After releasing a dancey electronic track “Fever” last month, they’ve completely turned around what I expected from their new album “Turn Blue”, due May 13th. With this psychedelic groove on this new track, it harkens back to their Attack & Release days which, coincidentally, is the last record that Danger Mouse had helped them with.
I am really stoked that they’ve gotten back to this sound. As good as the hits and hooks were on El Camino it’s refreshing to hear them get back to their Thickfreakness days.
