What happens when a legendary bass music producer and one of the founders of modern hip hop team up? You get “Smoke Bomb”, a new school bass heavy dancefloor track with old school G funk elements, and those smooth iconic rap lines from none other than the Snoop “D-O-double gizzle”.

While Datsik has always been comfortable in his element of heavy bass music, whether it be Dubstep, Drum N Bass, or Trap, he’s always been a forward thinking musician that hasn’t been afraid to collaborate with anyone. Putting out his first single in 6 months, Datsik successfully combines his own bass style of synth heavy madness, with elements such as such as soulful keyboard lines and high pitch moog melodies reminiscent of some of Dr. Dre produced classic Snoop Dogg tracks reminiscent of “California “Love” and “Nuthin But a G Thang”. After 6 months without any new releases, Datsik’s new “Smoke Bomb” is sure to turn some heads bobbing and bodies moving in the club.
