St. Germain (real name Ludovic Navarre) has returned after 15 years with a self titled album St. Germain released earlier this month. The French musician mixes elements of house, nu-jazz along with real instruments into his productions. Ludovic collaborated with African musicians in this album which features instruments such as the kora, balafon, n’goni accompanied with live guitars.

“Real Blues” is the first track on the album which is packed with hyped up percussion and features the voice of Lightnin’ Hopkins. St. Germain turned to UK producer Atjazz (Martin Iveson) for some stunning remixes (Stay Tuned, Astro and Galaxy Aart Dub). Martin is known for his world of music releases and his style ranges from Deep house, hip hop and nu Jazz. Martin also runs his own label Atjazz Record Company. Atjazz spices things up with the “Stay Tuned Remix” by adding his hypnotic drums, smooth strings and inviting melody which makes this an epic track while keeping the integrity of the original. Atjazz delivers a high class production remix which is organic and sure to penetrate your soul.
