Order Entry Clerk

We are seeking an experienced person with a mastery of data/order entry who can become an integral part of our Accounts Department.

As a member of this team, you will be interacting with our customers and sales/office staff on a daily basis, providing the utmost of service to our customers and company.

Responsibilities:

  • Processing orders via Syspro ERP and/or associated ERP software
  • Responding to customer inquiries, over the phone and email, and handling account maintenance
  • Ensure orders are entered, processed, invoiced and shipped accurately and on time
  • Entering billing information to prepare invoicing, making adjustments as required
  • Processing daily credit card and direct debit payments
  • Posting daily/monthly credit card and direct debit payments
  • Issuing RMAs for return of products and credit notes to customers
  • Entering and issuing purchase orders
  • Ability to track and manage purchase orders
  • Assisting in the set-up of new accounts
  • Familiarization of yourself with our complete product line

Requirements:

  • Experience using ERP system for order processing (knowledge of Syspro a definite asset)
  • Excellent computer skills and telephone manner
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Minimum 5 years Canadian order processing/entry experience with excellent written & oral English skills
  • Minimum 1-2 years A/R and customer service experience
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office (Excel) and Microsoft Outlook
  • Familiarity with UPS shipping software is an asset
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
